Failed loading image 'slider2'

Thought id give this a try, I searched but didn't see anything that helped and thought I might get lucky and get that one person to see this thread who knows whats going on.

Just purchased Call of Duty 2 through steam.
Downloaded it, hit play, starts to load and then errors out saying it failed to load image slider2.

Id love to give this game a go this weekend but not sure if thats going to happen without some help.

Anyone know anything about this?

Or am I up that one creak that people hate without a paddle.

Well, re-downloading it off of steam seemed to do the trick. Never had a problem downloading a game and playing it so I thought it was something else.
