It's just an idea. Let's say there's a main article in the game newspaper, in accordance to the main quest line like in Oblivion.

I was thinking, they should include small stories in the newspaper about the events that happened from certain side-quest, or your actions. Like murdering someone.

I've got a list of things I hope are going to be in Skyrim, one of them sort of goes along the lines of this. I want to hear people gossiping about things I've done, and minstrels singing songs about the bigger stuff ( fable does this well, maybe use titles you earn in the gossip/songs ), but not just the big things... It'd be great to hear people saying, "Did you hear Caius Cosades was murdered in his home? - NO WAY! - YAWAI! - ORLY?" you get the point. :P

A news paper sounds neat, would they be contemporary to the timeline though? I wouldn't be against them, but hand-written and drawn news papers spread nation wide in Skyrim seems like a logistical nightmare with Skyrim contemporary technology. :(

They had a limited system like this in Oblivion. With the Black Horse Curior (I think) They would get new letters as you progressed the main story line.

Also, some NPCs would say things like, "so-so got murdered or did you hear that an eldar scroll was stolen?!" But it was limited to main quests or guild quests mostly. Even then just to the major events in those quests.

But I would love to see a more localized system, so each town is talking about something different that you did for that town. Besides just main events.

Well a newspaper wouldn't really fit. I suppose they could always put up bulletin board where they put quest and bounties, like in other RPG/fantasy based games.
