There's no subforum for Dungeon Defenders, most games get them when they're preorderable don't they? Or am I missing something.

Would just be nice if there was somewhere to discuss this game before it comes out.

Afaik the devs have to ask for one =/

That is correct, and if you want a forum, the developer has it's own where they are even posting.

That's a possibility. Whenever a Valve employee capable of (or knows someone capable of) sees a thread like this they'll do it themselves. Of course, the developers requesting one (or requesting that it does not get made and only redirects, as with Dota 2) would definitely work as well.

In the case of DotA 2, it is a Valve title, and I wish they would just open up a sub-forum for it. I don't want to be redirected to a 3rd party site and create a new account just to talk about a Valve game.

+1 again for a Steam DD subforum.

Seems the company's general forum is a mix of phone game, consoles and pc. Need a steam forum for the PC version alone.

I wasn't happy about the huge delay, but the game looks great and all is forgiven. I don't want to visit Trendy's forum anymore - I feel dirty there. I'm ready to make a new start in a new forum.

+1 to Subforum.

Also, to DD developers and any indie developers, you need to put out demos with your games.

That third party site is the official site for the game, otherwise they would have a section on this forum.

These section mostly comes around when the game is released.

Your comments doesn't make sense. As far as I know almost all games that are new and not new have an official website. DOT2 has a subforum but it is redirected to the official website which is very annoying for a lot of people here.

Valve said that why split the community when there already is a community for that game, so they just redirect people to their site. Any changes people ask would have to be on those forum too. So when people complain on this site it would most likely resolve to people just saying
"If you got a problem with the game go to their forum and whine"

I don't care if there are official forums for a game. I like the Steam subforums, since I don't need to create dozens and dozens of forum accounts. There is usually a healthy amount of participation on Steam, even when an official forum remains barren.

go to library, and under game info there is a link to their forums even (steam dungeon defenders forum) but it doesnt exist so it links to the general steam forum

This.

Also, while I have the game in my list it's acting odd... it is still on my Wishlist, and I can still buy a copy for myself if I put it in my cart. It's like I own it in my library, but the Steam store is clueless?

Yes, please give us a sub-forum. I'd prefer to not have to join another forum and it just makes sense to have a place to discuss this game (with my fellow Steam users) since it seems to be so focused on multi-player.

Thanks in advance if someone reads these comments and makes one!

I don't own the game yet but add me to that support list of getting a sub-forum.

sorry guys, but they don't read this site. I will tell them on the official site that you want a subform here, though.

A Steam forum is also allways usefull with Steam problems around the game. Plus above mentioned stuff.

that's what happens when a post such as this gets put in general forums ... then a sub forum is made ... it then gets moved here.
