Achievements?

Apparently (according to the Store page), 2012 has Steam Achievements.

2011 didn't, and Googling doesn't turn up any prior announcement or information. neither does the Cities XL 2012 web site.

anyone know if this is definite or a mistake?

I am shallow enough that this will swing it for me; achievements=purchase, no achievements = I'll give 2011 another go...

To be honest, I would be more impressed if the game had Steam Cloud, but whatever floats their boat

There will be Steam Achievements. Valve announced it on the Storepage, so you can act on assumption that there will be Achievements. I said it as 3 years Valve-member. ;)
