Portal 2 Instant Crash on Mac 10.7.2

ever since I updated to 10.7.2 on Wednesday I have been unable to launch Portal 2 on my Mac

I launch it, my screen flashes for an instant then the steam ad popup that shows after you close a game pops up

What specifications are you running? I'm experiencing zero issues at all on my iMac.

Processor: 3.4 GHz Intel Core i7

Memory: 12 GB 1333 MHz DDR3

Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 6970M 1024 MB

Software: Mac OS X Lion 10.7.2 (11C74)

Try defragmenting the game cache and/or validating the game cache.

well, i actually solved the issue by completely uninstalling portal 2 and redownloading and installing it again 0_o

not sure what the problem was but it's working again now :)

AMD Radeon HD 6750M
