Hello,

I can't get the Freedom Force demo to launch on Windows 7. I created a shortcut from "fforce" to run in Compatibility Mode, using WinXP and Win2000 to no avail. I even checked every box in the Compatibility tab, but it still didn't work.

Any ideas? I'm an old FF fan from way back. Thanks!

Have you tried running it as administrator? That often solves such problems. :)

It's an issue with the demo. The issue was fixed in a patch for the main game, but the demo never got the fix.

I see somebody mentioned the demo already, but for the full game you may have to go to the directory and turn on compatibility mode. Setting it to Windows XP SP3 made it work OK for me. I still start it via Steam shortcut.
