Failed to connect to key server

Hi all.
When launching F1 2011 for the first time, I receive a "Failed to connect to key server" that keeps me from starting the game. Am I the only one with this problem or is there an error, or even lack of Cd-keys? Just wondering, not really aggravated, so long as it is resolved soon.

also having this problem bought the game 7 hours ago, upon downloading the game i tryed to launch it but unfortuntly it says

"failed to connect to key server"

quite annoyed feel like i been robbed quite honestly , first game purchase on steam since the counter strike days and not impressed.

Awaiting information back from support at this moment but if i dont hear anything within 48 hours will just reclaim the payment througth visa.

I was searching the forums and have found this has happened with other users / games when steam have run out of keys. If this is the case then steam really should inform users before there purchasing something they cant have or use.

you may have to verify the integrity of your cache. Right click on the game and go to properties/Local files and Verify. Seems to be a common problem.
