Editing controls

I launched Dungeon Defenders and clicked Configure to edit some controls. I accidentally left clicked twice on a control instead of putting in a new key for the control. I switched the left click button back to "Use Weapon/Confirm Action", saved the new controls, and launch the game. I got into a game and noticed that I couldn't use my weapon even when I set the mouse key back to normal. The options in the game has "Use Weapon/Confirm Action" set to "none" while the control section in the configuration screen before launching the game says the key is set to it. Sorry if I made this confusing. Any way I can fix this? I can't play if I can't attack enemies :'(

there are thread already on the front page concerning this. they sent an update to steam, just waiting for it to get approved/applied

worst part is this was working fine and there was no patch. WTF.
