I'd like to know if game progression made in local split screen is not saved.

Each of you select a Character, and play with it. Any exp and levels ect is saved when you finish a mission I believe. Then when you no longer have your friends round, you can load any of the Characters in SP or online and continue.

Yes, that's what I thought, but after playing 4 or 5 levels with my brother I closed the game. When I opened it again to play SP I noticed that both characters' progress hadn't been saved.
Also after finishing the 5th level we went to the tavern and in the level select menu I could only choose the first one.
