So, I have heard you can get VAC banned by using certain add-ons, ones with cheats. Does the garrysmod.org site monitor to see if add ons have cheats installed onto them

1 - things on Gmod.org are safe, in general.
2 - the caveat is: watch what you're downloading. Check out the comments, and don't download things that seem in the slightest suspicious.

I don't believe you can get vacced by gmod things, because well, it's a sandbox that relies upon outside source things. But really, use your noggin. If other people are saying "woah don't download this" don't download it. Don't try using 'cheaty' things like aimbots and such, because they're cheating and make you look like a jerk anyway.

Most addons are things that put new skins on guns, add effects and particles, and that kind of thing. But just... y'know. Be aware.
