Mac version ignores volume settings

Hey there,

I have a problem with the Mac version (I'm using Lion), in that it completely ignores the volume settings. Sound effects and music keep blaring out as if I hadn't touched the settings at all.

You see, when I play games like this, I like listening to my music in the background while I wind down. I can't do that if Lightfish is constantly battling for my ears.

Any ideas?

I'm running Snow Leopard 10.6.7 and I had the same trouble too :/ Also, it sounded like the game only loaded the first 30 seconds of each song, because after a bit it would abruptly stop and start the next track O_o Which led me to turn the music down/off, and that didn't do anything...

Good to know I'm not the only one, but unfortunately no-one seems to care.

Man, it's at times like this I wish Steam did refunds for faulty software the developers are unwilling to fix or offer suggestions on.
