french version installed

after installing it appears that the installed version is in french and there does not seem to be a way to change it to english.

could someone please look into this?

You can change the language options in the properties in steam. Just right click the game > properties > Language > English (or whatever).

It will have to download some extra files. unfortunately, mine ♥♥♥♥ed up and tried to re-download teh whole thing. trying to work around this now...

edit: I just paused it and verified the file integrity, that seemed to do the trick.
