Anyway to have classic weapons in Overdose?

I love the Painkiller series, and have so far played through Black and Redemption. Overdose is...something, but I'm determined not to give up on it. If there's at all a mod or at least a simple process of replacing the new weapons back to the classic Painkiller weapons, please let me know. Even if it breaks balance or whatever, I don't care.

Painkiller: Supernatural is basically Overdose mapset with Black Edition/Resurrection weapons. Is mystery to me why some people dont like Overdose weapons, character and monsters. It adds alot to actual game. Players tastes are probably like BF: they want the same, but more, everything creative and new is bashed and antagonized. I, to be honest like Overdose style becase it modify decent elements of the game, make them more sick, psychodelic and twisted, also adds other, new content to the game. I especially like places when new weapons are intodruced, the ones with Ectoplasmer and Cannongun, Crossbow, Broken sword, Razorcube, Bonegun, demon eggs. Realism in this game is like metal music theme and symbols, as well as titles like Soul Reaver or The Suffering. It's comic and slaughter like first Painkiller, yet surrealistic, demonic, morbid enough to be something new. I consider PK, BOOH, OD, RED as a canon of the same universe, while RES not.

It's more than that. These were the levels always missing and to be made into campaign. To be SP Levels, not just stay MP maps. But there's also a lot of technical changes and story continuity. It's made to be story canon and to evolve in rightful sequel as development will progress.

Ahaha, well, I'm sorry you disagree with my liking the PK weapons more. I had played PK resurrection before playing Overdose, and so I gave both of them a fair shot within the (generally) same conditions. I just found PK to be more satisfying to use.
