I'm totally thinking this is going to have similar progression like Super Mario World! If so, that'll be awesome!

That would be awesome, wouldn't it? ;)

But yeah, the progression will be more-or-less the same. We're not done yet with the design of the actual world map/level select so we don't know how that is going to look. But ( assuming you are referring tot the SNES version (you should!)) if we'd use the same representation for the levels as Super Mario World, then most Toki 2 levels would be red dots :)
