These are drawn by me, I saw that the dev's read these forums, and these are creatures I drew them 2 years ago, that I think would fit The Haunted well :3
All these characters belong to me, but if the Haunted's devs enjoy them, they can use them all they want :)
Please let me know what you think!

The Flies
Flies are attracted to HunchRot, they land on his back, living inside of the boils. They live in his dead skin, filling his boils with maggots. If you are attacked by HunchRot a lot of the times flies rush your wounds, filling them. Days later after it heals you can still find maggots crawling around in your skin.(Note the flies are only attracted to wounds HunchRot inflicts, due to the wounds made by him, carrying his scent.) The infection increased his rate of recovery, he is constantly regenerating the flesh on his back, thus why so much of it is dead, with each new layer its pushed to the top, creating large masses of dead tissue.
The Flies and him share a.... symbiotic relationship, if you will. He provides them with a place to live and protection, and they eat the surplus of dead skin, that if was left alone, would weigh him down, and might even kill him.
The Diseases
A bite from HunchRot is fatal. Not due to any form of toxin, or poison, or acid, but due to the amount of diseases that dwell in his body. Similar to a Komodo dragon, it’s not the bite that kills their prey, it’s what’s in the dragon's saliva.
To deal with HunchRot:
Run. Never try to engage in melee if you can. A strike from him will take days to fully heal due to his maggots nesting in your skin. His body is covered in thick calluses and blisters, so only high piercing rounds will penetrate his skin. Elephant Guns seem to be the most effective. His back seems to be a weak point, since its covered with maggots its not covered with thick calluses like his body and arms. So a blow to the back might do good damage, if you can withstand the smell and the horrid sight of maggots nesting in his putrid skin.

In Life, Harpies were once Salon workers, nail specialists, super models, Hair stylists, etc. In Hell, The chemicals lashed back on them, giving them haggard appearances and caused their, once prized nails, to twist and bend together to create sharp strong claw-like hooks.
