Is there an downloadable version of the tech tree somewhere?

I still cannot seem to load the tech tree in game and was wondering if there was a copy of it available elsewhere for viewing

Also. . .

Is there a way to build the weaker version of a unit?

I just upgraded Archos to Lvl 2 and I don't think the production cost increase is worth final unit
