Quit to Desktop (Win7 64-bit)

Just bought the game and installed it.

I'm on Windows 7 SP1, have plenty of specs for the game, so I know that's not the issue.

The game launches and goes through the opening splash screens, and then when it gets to the guy standing there, it quites back to desktop.

I've tried running in compatibility mode for XP SP3, and Windows Vista SP2.

Same results each time.

Anyone have any thoughts?

Same for me, unfortunately.

Edit: Seems like changing the Default Format to 16bit, 44100 Hz (CD Quality) under Advanced for my speakers sorted it, try it out yourself.
