Can't delete backups folder

I just bough the game and I tried to make a backup for the game, then I can't delete them after making it for another external hard drive. Every time I try to delete the folder, I get "Could not find this item" and it's starting to annoy me.

It's been mentioned a couple of times about this and quite a few other games on Steam. For some reason it is appending a space character at the end of the filename for the main folder. Windows hates this so much, it refuses to touch the thing. You can move/copy/rename/delete it through DOS though...but still...whoever maintains the code for the STEAM program needs to fix this.
