win7 64, game not even starting!

Just picked this game up in the sale and it wont even start! Just getting a black screen for 5 secs, then a crash to desktop. Tried making the config file, running it as admin, in win xp compatibility mode, direct from the folder etc, but nothing's working!

Running win7 64,
i7 2.8
geforce 470.
xonar x2 soundcard.

Let me know if you get it working man, can't believe their still selling this when its got serious issues.

CPU thread to 1
set different res 720

I installed today. No issues here.

Win 7 Pro x64. HD5850. 1680x1050.

Only trouble I had was trying to figure out the xbox controller. Settled for keyboard & mouse.
