View Full Version : Steam Gem Prices a ripoff for EU Players?

I recently bought some gems for the game through the Steam wallet system. The price was 9.95 Euros.

I then got an invoice from ISOTX for 7 Euros.

It seems that Steam is charging me the Euro rate but ISOTX is charging the US rate of $10.

Why are EU players having to pay more for the same digital goods?

Where are the other 3 EUROS going?

Thanks, but why are EU players being charged something like 30% more to buy gems? US players have told me they pay $10 per 100 of the same item? Not $13.67 (at today's rate).

The price difference can't be justified by delivery costs

To be honest if this is the case it leaves a bad taste in my mouth as I feel that I'm being ripped off.
