just wondering, i tried joining a multiplayer game and after a few seconds i just get kicked back in the main menu.
i already read about the host needing to have ports forwarded, so is this what happens when the host hasnt done it properly? or wont they even show up in the list when the ports arent forwarded?
i also remember some kind of skeleton icon in front of the servername, whats up with that? 8D
edit:
just tried joining a game with 2 players, still getting kicked back into main menu.
do players also need to forward ports or only the host?

Servers that are in progress and have LAG might sometimes not disappear for you when they start. Because the game has started, the game does not allow you in.
Joining is only allowed while the game is in Lobby mode.
If this issue persists even when you are 100% sure the game WAS in lobby mode, please contact our support at:

I don't think it's just him, I'm always getting this as well.
If it helps at all, the host I was playing with's "View Game Info" is still listing me as in the server, 35 minutes after I left. Since that I can't join.

I can NEVER even see a game. Is this game uPnP aware for NAT transversal?

I would guess not since port forwarding is required.
IMHO any game these days which needs port forwarding is really not doing itself any favours for getting multiplayer recognition, which for this title is a massive shame.
Edit: I just read that they are working on PnP server hosting *massive thumbs up*

I only have 10 port ranges available to define on my miserable cable modem and all 10 ranges are already taken up and I'm not removing Q3A/CS 1.6/KillingFloor hosting abilities :C
I beg of you, uPnP for NAT transversal please!

This does not appear to be the case, no. I had to add the ports manually to get a friend into a game.
Then i had to make it a public game because private joining wasn't working.
