Stuck at loading screen

I start the game and see the submarine, then it changes to the 'blocks that matter' kind of undulating and says it is loading.

Then after a while I alt-tab and kill the process. Anyone have this problem? I have verfied cache, restarted steam, rebooted computer.

Win XP 32 bit
AMD X2 4800+ 2.5 ghz
Nvidia 9600GT
4 GB DDR2

Not the best system, but plays the Stalker games, Witcher 2, GTA 4, Red Faction Guerilla and Armageddon, Bad Company 2, etc. just fine and any indie game with ease.

Okay fixed -

Just had to run it using the executable jar file in the game folder. The steam icon I'm guessing is pointing at the windows launcher and it hangs on loading.

Anyone know how to change the game listed on my steam game list to point to the jar rather than the windows launcher?

Hi there,

Can you try to launch the "C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\blocks that matter\BTM_DBG_embedded_jvm_win.bat" file by double clicking it and screenshoot or copy/paste what appeared in the command window that opens?
