Youtube is broke with the ingame browser after latest update

2011 27' imac
4gb ram
firefox is default browser
have latest flash and steam beta installed.


Anyways here is my problem. Whenever I go to watch a youtube video inside the in-game browser in gmod the video will quickly load, then the video area will turn into a white box where the video and controls would be. Then the sound for the video then continues to play.

Is anyone else having this problem, is there a fix?

Also... why are you watching youtube while ingame...?

mostly watching videos while im dead in TTT.

I dont think its a graphics card issue though because other flash applications and video sites load fine, like vimeo.

Is youtube still using flash? Why don't you change the settings to html5? http://www.youtube.com/html5

Maybe it won't crash.

Switching to html 5 did not work. :(


I have also tried reinstalling steam, nothing.


All I get when I try to watch a youtube video is a white block where the video should be.

well not just mac problem have this problem with pc some video with no sound other come with damn html5 mag arg maybe valve need to update it browser
