So i installed sonic generations and whenever i try to launch the game a Steam error pops-up sayin' "This game is currently unavaliable". Anyone's having a samiliar problem?

Try verifying file integrity. That usually works.

Right-click the game in the Steam library, pick "Properties". From there, go to the "Local Files" tab. Click "Verify Integrity of Game Cache..." It can take quite a while to complete, or sometimes even get 1%; Be patient with it.

its taken me so far 8 hours to download the game :P i think i can wait a bit longer thx

Sorry to jump on the thread but I've got this exact same issue. I tried verifying the integrity of the files and it reported success after about 5 seconds.

Still not working though, does anybody have any other ideas?

Probably a stupid question, but have you tried restarting Steam/your computer?

Not a stupid question at all in this case. I tried restarting Steam this morning and it's now working perfectly :D
