Question about character specific secrets

I noticed that different characters are able to find different secrets, so if you are playing SP you won't get them all in one run.

So... if I complete an area, say Fornost, as one character and move onto a different zone, can I load a save as a different character and go back to Fornost and run through it?

If I do, will all enemies respawn?

I'm a completionist with no friends so I that is my plan, wanted to know if anyone else has done this or am I just p1ssing in the wind...

When I farm certain areas for chests/loot, I do get respawns, so go prepared.

So the entire instance will be populated with enemies once more, interesting if that includes the bosses too...

I wonder if your level completion stats keep track of the fact that 'X' character found their secrets and now 'Y' character can also find theirs to mean all secrets found in a particular area.

I did a lot of backtracking looking for an item to finish a side quest that drove me bonkers!!!

The zones do respawn with monsters and loot. The bosses don't respawn however...at least not for me.

When you go through a second (or third..damn side quest) the game breaks it down into sub zones. For me, it wouldn't allow me to continue on at a waypoint. It would show me a map and I had to zone out. I then would go play in a different zone and then come back to the previous zone but pick a different sub zone. Its hard to explain but once you see that map come up you will understand what I mean lol

Just play in another zone and come back to the zone under a different sub zone
