Game currently unavailable??????

I am trying to play my fm12 but when i click on the desktop icon a steam pop up appears saying game is currently unavailable please try again later. This has been happening for the last 36 hours. Can anyone help?????

I got this same issue but I fixed it. Just right click on the game in your steam library, go to properties -> local files and hit "verify integrity of game cache" and then restart steam. That fixed it for me at least.
