-An option to turn off speech bubbles. I hate having the joke ruined by not averting my eyes.

-Remove the weird black notch in the spell wheel on keyboard setups. I assume it's a selector for people using controllers?

-Reduce the initial spell cooldown time a bit. What exactly is the point of spending 30 seconds doing nothing but defense at the beginning of every battle? I almost never took off the Organic Kelp Bangle.

-Wah wah, I am a whiny consumer.

What? You're not whiny.

The little cursor still gives useful information, even without the gamepad: it shows what position on the wheel is currently displayed inside the center of the spell ring.

Other people, sound off! Do you think it should be removed from non-gamepad play?

As far as speech bubbles, that's a possibility...

And initial cool down is important. Without it, players could frontload their ring with the highest cooldown spells, and blast them off in short order to crush enemies up front. Plus, it would effect game balance at this point, so it's probably going to stay the same. = P

Leave the little thing on the spell ring in. I use keyboard only for this, and I actually like the little thing there. It usually highlights my spell I last used and reminds me of the mana cost.

As for cooldown in the beginning...I am all for it. Think about it...some enemies start off the battle already trying to attack you. So unless you want to get hit for the 10-50 damage just to cast a spell, the cooldown is fine. I think the only time it gets in the way is when you are farming/grinding and can 1 hit kill the enemy. Then waiting 10-30 seconds before you can spend the next 4-12 seconds casting the one hit spell. In the end it doesn't bother me. The accessory I always use is the Candlestick. My setup makes me wait the intial 40 seconds defending until I can string off; Boost, Miasma, Brazen Shard, Arclight, then spend 4-20 seconds getting mana then cast Fade to Black and Angel Ray. By then my intial attack setup is almost ready to cast again.

Then again, it comes down to how you play. I'm not bothered by anything to much. The only gripe I have is are we able to pause during the "cutscenes"? I was afraid to press anything while they were talking in fear of skipping it. That and the ability to refight bosses, without getting the drops again of course. Perhaps a theater mode, which is unlocked after beating the game, that will allow the player to rewatch the various conversations and refight bosses.

You're able to pause during cutscenes. Believe me, I'd know this much.

About the cooldown, would it be possible to have a lower initial cooldown just for the poison spells?

Most of the time when I get to activate them, enemies are almost dead, so they turn to be rather useless for anything but one achievement.

You can equip the Organic Kelp Badge accessory, it decreases the intial cooldown of all spells by 50%. Or you could do what I did, use the Candlestick accessory. It lowers all spell cooldowns by 15%, but it's always active so your spells recharge faster during long fights. With Candlestick it only takes me 30 seconds until I can cast Miasma at the start of battle. Then usually another 60-70 seconds until I can cast it again, usually right after it wears off.

Not really, just use a candlestick. Besides I don't even like Organic Kelp Badge because it's INTIAL spell cooldown, which means when the battle starts they are almost ready to cast, but recharge normally. The Candlestick makes them 15% faster, meaning at the start they are 15% more ready, and recharge 15% faster as well.

So just use a Candlestick. The longest I had to wait to use a poison spell with Candlestick was about 20 seconds I think.
