[bug] 1vs1 Online MP - can't grab units

I purchased this game the other night and me and my friend have been playing it for a few hours without problems.

Today however, no matter who invites who and which options we select for the multiplayer, the game simply bugs out after several turns.

Everything in the game works, BUT the current player simply can not grab a unit (thus the game is stuck) using the left mouse button or the space bar. When we had the timer on the timer did seem stuck, but the error occured as well without a timer.

We're running Win7 64-bit machines.

Did you ever find a fix for this? My girlfriend and I logged over a 130 hours in the game...rarely having this problem...now we can't finish a game because the problem mentioned above happens within the first few turns.

We're playing Multiplayer Hotseat using the same computer.

Same specs as yours.

Yes, we did. Somehow the bug doesn't occur if the game was started in Administrator mode (sigh).

Side note: the bug happened in all player modes for us sometimes directly at the start of a battle, other times shortly into the buttle and sporadically it didn't happen (and then we could play the game for hours).
