Quicksave/manual save

I see from the threads that there are some problems with the game, so the answer(s) to my question will have some real effect on my decision to buy.
Does the game have quicksave capability, or must one play the same boring part over and over until one finally 'conquers' the hard part.
I ain't young, and replays start to p133 me off after two or three times. Life is short, time is money and all that.

Yes it does have quick save, however the music stops and the game
freezes for a few seconds. I wouldnt want to quick save during a fight because with the freezing it deminishes the qualty of a good fight...
