la noire wont load up. when i click play from my steam library the rockstar games loading screen appears but then it goes off and the game doesnt start???????

If you have an Steam's version of the game, just verify the game. This will fix any installation issue.

I have the exact same problem. Verified, twice, still the same problem. Tried launching from the file direct, as opposed to through steam. Same issue. :confused:

Run Steam as admin. This is already covered in the pinned FAQ topic.
