Won't run in fullscreen mode

XFX 4GB 5970 card, Catalyst 11.10 drivers.

If I force windowed mode in the registry, the game runs. When I try to switch to fullscreen, or leave fullscreen enabled in the registry, the resolution flickers constantly until I switch back to the desktop and kill the game.

Any ideas?

I just started getting a problem where my game minimizes right in the middle for no reason...maybe there was an update?
