Hi everyone!

I recently bought F1 2011 from steam, but when I want to go the game play online I have to create a Game for Windows live account. I create the account successfully, but when I want to sign in with it, an error occurs. It says that it can't connect because Live isn't supported in my region. I'm from Croatia, but 2 of my friends are playing it normally and they didn't get this error. I tried putting my country as the UK or the USA but it still reports the same error. When I go to the "network connection" report after the error it says that my Internet IP isn't listed as well as my UPnP. Could those two have something to do with it?

Well, as far as i remember i fixed something alike changing my location in the Windows Regional and language settings to USA, then restarting the computer...

But that was a long time ago...

I've put my location to the USA and after the restart, when I entered my live account it didn't report any error. It just asked for an update. I completed the update by exiting the game and when I came back to sign in, the error came back up again.

Still not solved. :/

I would advise contacting Steam support.

Message sent.

I also read that xfire could be causing it, so I'll try that when I come home.

Having this problem and reading this thread, I turned of my X-Fire and it signed in updated and went into the game properly. So will now be posting on X-Fire forum to let them know it's there problem. :)
