Directsound error

Can't start game, when I start the game from steam I get an error message saying:

Directsound error

Error Initializing Directsound

Any kind of help appreciated!

Specs:

Windows 7
Nvidia geforce 570
8gb RAM

Either your soundcard doesn`t support directsound (which is highly unlikely), or you already have a program using directsound running.

If have Realtek Audio chip then download and install the lates one vs stock windows 7 driver.

There are other possable to like disable any other playback device in the sound panel
