Hello all. Among the many issues this game has upon launch i was curious if anyone else had an issue similar to mine and maybe could help shed some light on a solution or give me some confidence that it is not only me that has this problem.
I have two monitors hooked up to one gtx 580. They are running at different resolutions because of the different monitor sizes.
The main monitor #1 is running at 1600x1200 60hz
The second moinitor #2 is running 1920 x1080 60hz
Orientation is landscape and multiple displays is set to "extend these displays"
Through some searching i found a faq for the mac version of arkham asylum you can run the bmanager(advanced options) and there will be an option to choose which monitor you would ike to use. I verified both monitors were being detected properly individually and could run the game, by changing the main monitor to #2 and #1 to #2. The game will then run full 1920 x 1080. If i change the main monitor back to #1 (1600x1200) It will not retain the saved setup and instead opt back to the main monitor
All of my drivers are up to date.
My monitor drivers are installed properly.
I couldn't find any launch options to force/default it to the second monitor.
Am i missing something really obvious?
Is this a known issue?
I've been scratching my head over this for the past 4 hours trying to get this to work without so many system configuration changes before even launching the game.
If it helps Battlefield 3 notices both monitors and gives me the option of which one i would like to choose to use.
