I got my serial code through nVidia and used it on steam and have downloaded game etc fine with it being fully accepted. Now the SecuROM is saying that same serial is invalid. Any ideas?

Right click on the game in your Steam game folder and click an option that says look at the CD key or something. That's the one you enter into Securom and GFWL.
