After a few frustrating hours of forwarding ports (yes i know how and have done it before this) for some odd reason BF2 simply had an issue with iether my own router or my brother in laws router.even DMZ would not work that i tried for testing purposes.
I went and got this Himatchi program (core program is free) and I'll be a...... it worked perfectly.. gave us our own Himatchi created IP's and basically we ran it as a LAN even though he lives miles away. this is a great little program when all other attempts have failed. I just thought it deserved mention with the sale going on more people will be running BF2 I'm sure.
