I cannot run this game

I cannot run Shadow Harvest: Phantom opps... I keep getting a "Failed to create Physx..... It will not work at all...I do not use a nividia card but a radeon 3850, So how can I get it to wor???

Common error easily fixed:

Error: Failed to Create PhysX

This bug seems to occur mainly for people who use AMD GPUs, Both nvidia based PCs here installed and ran without problems but the AMD system had this error. It may come as a surprise but it actually appears to be caused by the Visual C++ Redistributable included with the game, I found that the problem is due to the version of the redistributable, the version that comes with the game is old and either overwrites something newer/important or is simply broken, on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 PC simply scan for new Windows Updates and there should be an update for the redistributable, once this is installed the game should run without issue, I had to restart the system after this to get this to work correctly however.

In case someone else has the problem, I came here to leave a quick note.

What fixed it for me was doing quite the opposite.

1.) Uninstall previous PhysX.
2.) Manually install PhysX from game.
3.) Run game
