Hi,
I wanted to share this with you. My setup is a Phenom II X6 1090T with Sapphire Radeon HD6850 and 8 GB DDR3, the mainboard is an ASUS with the 880G chip. I experienced stuttering with every video setting I tried, so I started to "tweak" my (latest) video drivers via the Catalyst Control Center.
The stuttering issues suddenly stopped when I configure the driver to use "Adaptive multi-samping anti aliasing".
Please try and report to help the community :-)
