Haha, this is not the first time I've seen someone yearn tragically for the release of Suguri, Sora and AoS2/X on Steam. No guarantees, of course, but I'm positive RA is doing everything they can to get the series onto Steam.

Aaaaaah~! Man, what I'd do for lobbies and skill-based matchmaking in AoS2...!

I would also love to see all of Rockin' Android's games on Steam.

Also, now that GOG has announced that they'll start stocking newer games, I'd like to see them there too. Steam and GOG are the only two digital distributor's that I use regularly, as the others (Impulse, D2D, Gamersgate, Origin) have either not interested me or had enough flaws to repel me.

While we too would love to see Suguri come to Steam, we have nothing to announce about it at this time. We'd love to bring our entire library to Steam, actually, but it's not really that easy.

I would buy every shmup on steam if it was this decent and priced well, especially some cave games.

I respect that it isn't easy to move your games over, but count me and my friend as another set of voices who will give you real cash money for Suguri X on steam (as long as it has multiplayer ;) )

Based on my experience with the Gundemonium Collection, I'll buy any Rocking Android game that gets put on Steam. I've been having an amazing time with these games.

Sara does RA plan on releasing anything this year on Steam? :)

That kind of thing is a complicated process and involves a great deal of discussion. At current, we have nothing to announce, but believe me when I say we really do want to, and are making an effort. We're also looking into things related to the GC arranged soundtrack -- but I make no promises at this time.

^This 1000X. Putting Cave games on Steam would complete my life. I would buy the complete pack the second it came out.

Also thanks KawaiiSara for the info, we understand the process is more difficult than one would thank, and hope to see all Rockin' Android games on Steam at some point!

I agree 100%. I'd probably buy any shmup Rockin' Android decides to put on Steam. My friends think I'm crazy for liking them, but shmups give you a certain rush I don't think most other genres give.

If I can run it, I'd certainly buy it... then again I say that and I can't run Jamestown well XD
Thanks for the update, Sara, if the soundtrack does ever happen to become available, I'll definitely buy it.

Not meaning to bring up the whole heroic speech and everything, but being a musician myself, I love getting my piano playing supported, I'm sure that the arrangers of the GC music, as artists naturally feel the same. It's been since I started getting into Bullet Hell shooters, that I've really been into collecting any OST there is for a game I like. Bullet Hell games deserve a huge amount of credit for music, since it definitely creates a bulk of the game's experience (as with almost everything animation related) while you're trying not to get slaughtered :3

Been getting into music myself... I know what you mean. We're trying to figure out the plan for the soundtrack still, and I don't know how it's gonna turn out, but... I'm personally friends with both Bill and Leila and love their work, so yeah, I'd love to get it more out there.

Totally understandable. It's great you've been getting creative, I feel that making music, is something everyone should try out at least once in their life, you just never know what you might come up with. As for the GC music, as I'm sure everyone knows, all you can do is try, but even the effort has been appreciated. So long as the artists know of the praise they're getting then I'm sure that they'll still be happy.

-Off topic-

Speaking of which, I actually listened to your tracks last week while looking up Gundemonium videos, I left a comment comparing one of the bosses to Keine Kamishirasawa's spell card in Touhou 8.
Your music was actually pretty cool, considering you sound like the type of person that doesn't work at music on a regular basis if at all. To produce two 3 minute tracks, with two different styles really is awesome. However if you ever look back into your tracks, try add some "Reverb" (on Moonlight at least), it makes the MIDI sounds a lot less artificial personally, and I think that one little tweak would make the overall feel more ambient and spacious.

Sorry for side-tracking =) Though great work!

To be honest, I wouldn't buy it since I already own it on Gamersgate. I'm happy as long as RA is bringing more games to PC download services regardsless if Gamersgate or Steam. However, Steam is much better for them saleswise.

I agree with tech. While it'd be nice to port a PC game to Steam, I would personally prefer to see newer projects that are not available on the PC. Or not translated at least.
