Server stuck on same map (aztec)

de_aztec is the startup map for my server, but now it seems the only map for my server. Did they change the way mapcycle.txt works?
It resides in /usr/local/cstrike/cstrike/

I just copied it to the cfg/ folder as well in hopes that will fix it. Was this yet another change Valve made without notifying us?

No, mapcycle.txt is not required in /cfg.
I always copy the content of mapcycle.txt into maplist.txt (same directory). Maybe doing so will fix your problem.

Set mp_timelimit ... default ist 0 (endless).

mapcycle.txt has to be in /cstrike
