Error while Starting the game

Hello,

bought Alicr MR wen it came out and played several hours. Now i use the same Laptop but Windows 7 64 bit. I tryed everytzhing to make it work but all tips from this forum doesn`t work. I start the game and see the EA logo movie and after this i`m back on desktop and get the normal Error message that there is an unknown problem and the application is closed. I start it as admin and deinstalled antivir. Nothing worls.

SO PLEASE HELP ME. actual ive got 9 Steam Games on the Laptop (incl. Skyrim running on max) and every single game perfectly works, except Alice MR.

Well can you provide us with a copy of your dxdiag.txt?

Ok, i solved the problem. I deleted the steam version of the game and reinstalled the Origin version. Runs perfectly, thanks to the guy from another thread.

^^ why are people saying that downloading the Origin version is some sort of magic fix, surely there's only one version of A:MR that your just downloading from different servers.

Are you working for Origin and trying to drum up business on the Steam forums?

no Sherlock, no.

the reason why i wrote this was: I tryed to start the steam version, but after the first logo (ad) the game crashed. I tryed everything to start the game, nothing worked. then somebody wrote he had the same problem and solved it with trying to start the game not from steam, he started it out of the origin application. And it worked, and so it worked for me. after r.a. 250 starts and crashes with different settings of the os it worked with the first try.

So that was the reason why i posted my solution. I`m not working for EA or something. i hate this stupid origin shi* and most of all i hate people who say i work for EA. So plz, don`t spam around and get a social life.;-)

I turned off my antivirus protection I tryed to run it again- it said some EA fail missing. Verifing + I installed origin( did not turn it on) and now im playing it in steam.
