Though I'm not sure if Shakey's is only in California, but anyway...It's like the Pizza Parlor with a bunch of games. Games give you tickets, tickets give you prizes.

So, I don't really play games their at Shakey's, I don't get so much tickets.

Anyway, I went to the prize counter with my brother. We had 178 tickets said the young lady AT the counter. Now the is the part...

My Brother says, "Can we get two bags of Skittles..."
The lady hands us Air Heads...
I say,"Umm...We said skittles."
Lady,"Oops sorry" with an embarrassed face.
But then, still hands us Jolly Ranchers 0_o!?!?!?!
My and my brother look at each, confused.
We just walk away saying "Yeah, thank for the SKITTLES!!!!"

Kinda like a Bar, with Pizza, TV's with some Sports on, and a bunch of kid games.

So it's like a Chuck E. Cheese for adults?

Sounds like Chuck E. Cheese. If there are two such detestable establishments, we might have an issue.

Yes, but still manages to be kid like with the games. Shakey's also came before Chuck E. Cheese.

I'm guessing this is really only in California. It's just when people never heard of In-N-Out.

Man, Shakey's had the best pizza. Sweet crust. We had one here, but it closed in the early 80's.

How much money did you spend playing games to win your "skittles"? :)

Question: Is the pizza there any good? I get the impression that it's just an afterthought....

Thirty years ago Shakey's was the best pizza in the world and started in the city that I am in which is Sacramento. In the nineties they sold out to a name chain brand which then went bankrupt and sold the Shakey's name to another foreign inverstor. Now there are more Shakeys outside of the United States then there is inside. The original Shakeys had an old west theme and had one of those two story tall pipe organs that played music all the time and was awesome.

Please do not speak about Jolly Ranchers again. I mean it.
