Cave Story+ (Mac): will it work with a USB joypad?

Hi all,

I dual-boot Mac & Windows.

Regular Cave Story lets me use any USB controller, so I'm wondering if anyone can tell me if they're able to use their pads while running in Mac?

I have a Saturn USB, and a Playstation adapter (the "InPin").

Would be good to know before buying the game.

I can't imagine why it wouldn't. The Windows version works fine with my both my DualShock and my X360 controller as regular HID devices. The game doesn't use XInput or anything Microsoft specific like that. So I can't imagine that the Mac version wouldn't have gamepad support.

If all else fails you can always use a gamepad to keyboard mapper.

Ok, I just got the Cave Story+ in the Humble Bundle #4.

I can happily report that the game works with both a PS3 Dualshock (via USB) and my trusty USB Saturn pad.

Works fine with my Dualshock 3 via Bluetooth too.
