View Full Version : Gamebreaking glitch for Deus Ex: Luminous path codes not working:

OK, so I just completed the blowing up the UC mission, and when I head back the compound I found the front entrance locked and the code not working. So after jumping in with the augment, I go in to the Tong area to find it too locked by a 6 code key I never got.

WTH is happening? Anyone know how to solve this?

EDIT: A was able to progress with cheats, though I'd still like to figure out this mystery.

The 6 digit code is to prevent players from bypassing the main quests by jumping into the compound before finding the Dragon Tooth Sword and reporting to Max Chen.

If you'd missed this, the trigger that turns the door code to "1997" will not fire.

But you should have already been in the compound at least once already by the time the UC is destroyed... and the doors shouldn't become locked again. Did you skip the recover the Dragon Tooth Sword quest in the first place?

Did you go to the Lucky Money after destroying the UC?

I think I went to the lucky money before the UC. The only quest I skipped was Maggie Chow's (killed her in her apartment), but I did that on my first playthrough and didn't have this effect.

Perhaps it was a glitch with biomod? I guess that trigger got reset somehow.

Did you recover the sword after killing Maggie Chow though?

This could make for an interesting GWT for some youtubers.
