Multiplayer Still Alive

So I just got Rainbow Six 3: Gold Edition, and I am having fun in single player, but I would love to try some coop missions. I can't seem to make an account, so I would imagine that the online community is dead, but I thought I would check here to see if anyone still played it online.

Multiplayer is still alive. Just go to the UBI main page and make a login account from there. You can use this login account in-game.

I did that, and will play around online tomorrow. I did notice that there doesn't seem to be any in-game voice chat. That is unfortunate.
