Looking to record commentaries. Need microphone insight.

Hey all. I've been looking into recording some game commentaries or playthroughs and I've been wondering what kind of microhpone would work best? My headset mic is garbage so I've already thrown that option out. I'm going to go try this one (http://www.long-mcquade.com/products/12954/Pro_Audio_Recording/Microphones/Apex_Electronics/Apex370_-_Dynamic_Hands-Free_Microphone.htm) first. My mixer doesn't have Phantom Power on the [XLR] mic input, so I'd need one with low impedance.

I know it's a shot in the dark posting here for this type of thing but I figured I might as well try. Thanks for anyone with any tips. :)

Personally, I took my Rock Band Microphone (its USB after all) and just left it on my desk and turned the microphone gain (input) up a bit in the Microsoft Options, and it works fine for me. The quality is better than most headsets I've worn, but you do run the risk of background noises interfering.
