Please, leave the "console port yeargh!!," "it better be $20," and "Steam sale!" talk for another thread and another time.

I'm beyond excited for this. I only got about halfway through the game before my 360 autocorpsed itself and I was really, really enjoying it. Fingers crossed GFWL doesn't rear its ugly head with this game.

I unfortunately already played it on 360. But I'm happy that it leaves the door open for the digital distributed sequel being on PC. Hopefully it gets announced for PC earlier this time so I can hold off. Liked the first one, but lack of a southpaw aiming option always kills a game for me on console.

I finished it on the 360. I will only get it if it has updated graphics and get it on sale. Higher resolution and AA won't be enough to get me to buy it.

No way!
This is great!
It's a game I really wanted to play but, as I don't touch consoles anymore, I thought I was never going to try it.
But now....!
I don't even know what metacritics it got but that's irrelevant to me as tastes are subjective.

hmm, might get it.. might not. I don't see it as a game that's on the same level as MP1 or 2 though.. I think remedy tried too hard to re-emulate various aspects of max payne in alan wake without infringing on the IP that they no longer had any control over.. like they were trying to make lightning strike twice with this new IP, or something..

I'm confused. What does alan wake have to do with max payne?

Good question well the thing is that original Max Payne was made by Remedy the same guys from Alan Wake

I enjoyed Alan Wake on the 360 but I found it to be a bit repetitive especially when it came to combat. I might buy it for the PC if it has added graphical eye candies such as DX11 features, anti aliasing etc.
