Hitman has failed to find steam?

If you are getting "Failed to find Steam", then the fix described here may help (if you haven't already tried it):

A quick way to check is to copy steam.dll into the game folder: if that fixes the problem, delete it again and set your PATH as described in the thread linked above for a permanent fix. (There is no need to run as Admin with this approach.)

Incredibly easy fix for this. Run Steam in offline mode. Works all the time for me.
