What is the value of mouse speed in the options menu?

Which chapter and level that is? Can try loading an earlier level and see if it's still happening?

Sorry; meant to come back to this and see I didn't. As I recall, the problem seemed to fix itself in a later attempt at the game (which I very much enjoyed).
