change deadzone?

Is this possible? My 360 controller likes to ghost in some games, due to the stick not sitting dead center perfectly. Its a little old. Normally games have a ini file with something that has a deadzone setting with a decimal. Any ideas?

There's no .ini file I can find, although you can use xpadder to set up your controller and set the deadzone on the sticks; If you need anymore help you can add me on steam.
